Mark Guthrie Appointed to Board of the National Association of Workforce Boards

HOUSTON, April 13, 2017 – Winstead shareholder Mark Guthrie has been appointed to the Board of the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB). The National Association of Workforce Boards, based in Washington D.C., represents approximately 600 state and local Workforce Development Boards and their 12,000+ business members. NAWB plays key roles in advising policy makers in Washington about how to meet the workforce needs of the nation’s economy through business, government, labor, and educational initiatives and in educating local workforce board members and staff.

Guthrie is a member of Winstead’s Construction Law and Business Litigation Practice Groups. He is the current Chairman of the Gulf Coast Workforce Board and has served as a member of the Board representing private businesses for 20 years. In addition to his legal practice and commitments to the regional workforce system, Guthrie also serves as a passionate advocate for adult literacy, education and vocational rehabilitation programs.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
