Vince Morgan is one of the country’s leading lawyers for corporate policyholders, having helped clients secure billions of dollars in insurance proceeds and other recoveries. With almost thirty years of experience, Vince advises organizations on all aspects of their insurance and risk management needs from a legal standpoint, including placing coverage, assisting with the claim process, and handling coverage disputes.

His experience covers the entire spectrum of commercial coverages, such as property, business interruption, CGL, D&O, cyber, intellectual property, E&O, reps and warranties, builder’s risk, fiduciary liability, employment practices, pollution, and other commercial lines.

Vince has represented clients in some of the most high-profile cases in the coverage arena, including claims related to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Deepwater Horizon disaster, COVID-19, virtually every major weather disaster in the US over the past 20 years, wildfires, the opioid crisis, and other newsworthy events. Vince has also recovered millions of dollars on behalf of pro bono clients ranging from legal aid organizations to individuals and small businesses.

Based on his knowledge and ability to work well with opposing viewpoints, Vince is also routinely sought out to serve as a mediator, arbitrator, and expert witness on insurance issues in the US and Europe.

Aside from his client work, Vince is one of the authors of the only legal treatise dedicated to insurance coverage for catastrophe losses, having written the chapters on the Claim Process and Business Interruption.

He is also active in both the Bar as well as the insurance community, serving as one of the authors of the exam for insurance law certification by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a past Chair of the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and the Co-Chair of the American Bar Association’s annual insurance coverage conference in Tucson, Arizona. Vince is also a Fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel, and he serves on the board of the Houston chapter of the Risk & Insurance Management Society.

Vince is Board Certified in Insurance Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
