Will Smith is a member of Winstead's Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group. Will’s practice focuses on real estate, with an emphasis on the planning, development, risk management, administration and marketing of single-family, townhome, condominium, commercial, and mixed-use projects, as well as resorts, clubs, and fractional ownership structures. Will also works with developers and builders on Interstate Land Sales Act (ILSA) compliance and registration and compliance with secondary mortgage market (FHA, VA, FNMA, etc.) requirements. Will has experience in a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including drafting acquisition and disposition contracts, easements, development and license agreements. Will also represents build-for-rent and single-family rental owners and in planning for accommodating build-for-rent and single-family rental projects within master-planned communities.

Will clerked for the Honorable Justice Debra Lehrmann of the Texas Supreme Court. Prior to practicing law, Will worked as an analyst for a commercial real estate firm, focusing on multi-family property performance and acquisition due diligence.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
