Will Tran is a member of the Finance & Lending Practice Group in the Winstead’s Dallas office.  Will’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial lending and financial transactions, and he has advised and represented regional, national and international lenders in a broad range of credit transactions that span through various industries, including energy, retail, technology, real estate and sports.  His experience includes the representation of commercial lenders and other financial services institutions in secured and unsecured financings, acquisition financings, reserved-based and asset-based lending transactions, syndicated credit facilities, and debt restructuring transactions.  Prior to joining Winstead, Will worked as a credit analyst at a national financial institution with middle market companies in the Central Texas regional market.

Will has been recognized for his work in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, 2021-2022.

Representative Experience

  • Representation of a banking institution in amending and restating a senior secured reserved-based revolving credit facility with a commitment of $1 billion.
  • Representation of an international banking institution in documenting and closing of a $2 billion senior secured reserve-based revolving credit facility to a private oil and gas E&P company.
  • Representation of various national sport franchises in connection with their recurring league-wide financing transactions.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
